We’re excited to announce that beginning Tuesday, July 15th, SHARE Community’s mobile shower and outreach program will move to a new location at 403 W 6th Street, Antioch, CA!

While the address is changing, what makes SHARE special remains the same: we’ll continue to offer free hot showers, fresh hygiene kits, coffee, and meals thanks to our longtime partners at Loaves and Fishes, along with medical and mental health services provided by Contra Costa Health. Loaves and Fishes has been serving lunch at this very location for nearly 10 years, and they’ll keep welcoming guests Monday through Friday from 11:00 am – 12:45 pm.

For people experiencing homelessness, a shower is so much more than a few minutes under warm water. It’s a chance to feel clean, to restore a sense of dignity, and to remember that they still belong to this community — even when life on the streets can make them feel invisible or unwelcome. Our shower program isn’t just about hygiene; it’s about Radical Hospitality®: meeting people where they are, welcoming them with respect, and offering them a safe space to rest, connect, and feel human again.

Sadly, many unhoused neighbors face daily displacement, moving from place to place as cities grow and housing becomes less affordable. By moving to 403 W 6th Street, we’re not just changing locations — we’re strengthening our roots in a community that has already shown compassion and consistency through our intentional partnerships. Together, we’re building a space where people know they can come to feel seen, supported, and nourished — body, mind, and spirit.

But we can’t do it alone. Your support — whether it’s volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word — helps us keep showing up for those who’ve lost so much yet still deserve care and kindness. Your generosity makes it possible for someone to step out of the shower trailer feeling renewed, share a hot meal with friends, or speak with a nurse or counselor who cares.

Mark your calendars for July 15th! We’ll see you at our new home at 403 W 6th Street, every Tuesday and Thursday from 8am–1pm — still offering showers, hygiene, food, coffee, and health services, and most importantly, a place to belong.

Together, we can keep reminding our unhoused neighbors that hope still lives here. #loveisaction
