ACTION

our programs
For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.
Matthew 25:35-36

An SF Bay Area native, Ricka has a heart for the historically and intentionally excluded, and those who feel invisible. An active Community Leader and Advocate, her drive is rooted in her family's social justice roots in the fight for racial and socio-economic equity, worker's rights, and against police brutality. A proud collector of globes and plants, Ricka loves spending time in nature, laughing hard, and being present with her family.

Vincent Vidriales
Board Vice President

Born and raised in the SF East Bay Area along with his beautiful wife Olga, they moved to East Contra Costa in 2003 and strive to spend their time, treasure and talents to serve the community. Vince's professional journey includes 37 years in corporate America. His life’s journey includes being raised by “hippies” and experiencing the not so glamorous side of the “peace and love” lifestyle. Family brokenness, cycles of addiction and his father’s homelessness lead to a life of shame, isolation and the road of hopelessness. He is honored to be part of The SHARE Community where he can share his journey of recovery and restoration.

Raised in the City of Antioch, Jazmine considers it her hometown. She graduated with a degree in Communication from San Diego State University and moved back home knowing one thing - she wanted to make the world a better place. She works in the non-profit sector and is a regular volunteer within her community. She holds a special place in her heart for the children within her community, as well as a dream to see her community, restored. Jazmine is dedicated to building lasting relationships with members of the community and the organizations who serve them. She joined SHARE Community for one reason- to show the love of Jesus in a tangible way.

Nancy Gayles
Treasurer+ Numerical Genius

Nancy has worked a variety of roles in the legal, health insurance and medical field, currently with Sutter Care at Home’s hospice volunteer department where along with matching volunteers to patients, her passion includes building a program to better serve veterans by providing veteran-centric education to clinicians and connecting with the local VA to simplify the process of obtaining health and financial benefits for Sutter’s veteran patients. The next logical step is to work through the SHARE Community group to bring VA connections closer to people in the community, foster vet-to-vet mentors and promote a greater awareness of veteran issues.
